How to Donate
Food Guidelines
Most Needed Items
- Canned proteins (tuna, chicken, beans)
- Peanut butter and other nut butters
- Rice and pasta
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Shelf-stable milk
- Baby food and formula
- Cereal and oatmeal
Please Note
- Check expiration dates (items should not be expired)
- No glass containers, if possible
- No homemade or opened items
- No damaged or dented cans

Volunteer Opportunities
Collection Day Volunteer
Help collect, sort, and package donations during our monthly collection days.
4-hour shifts, monthly
NCSSM Campus
No special skills required, just enthusiasm!
Logistics Coordinator
Assist with planning collection routes, organizing transportation, and coordinating with local food banks.
2-3 hours weekly
Remote + occasional in-person
Organization, communication, basic spreadsheet skills
Social Media Ambassador
Help spread the word! Create content for our social media channels and engage with our community online.
1-2 hours weekly

Social media savvy, photography/graphic design a plus
Community Outreach
Visit local businesses, schools, and organizations to establish partnerships and collection points.
3-5 hours weekly
